Sales Policy

Contact Us

Our deposit/sales policy: Read before inquiry!

Placing a deposit and purchasing a rabbit is agreeing to this policy, regardless of having read it or not. All sales comply to the entirety of this policy. Policy is subject to change at any time.

1) Deposits

Deposits are 50% of the full agreed-upon price as well as non-refundable. If you place a deposit and decide you no longer want the bunny, you forfeit the money to me. If you place a deposit and either don't show up to pick your bunny up or don't respond, the money is forfeited to me. If you cannot make the pickup date, please let me know and we can work something out.   However, should something happen to the bunny while it is in my care, (in case of injury, sickness, or death) I will happily either switch your deposit to another bunny, or refund you.

2) Using Transport?

  • If you are using Transport to receive your bunny, this section is for you. At least 2 days prior to the transport pickup date (when the bunny is transferred from my care to the transporter's care), the FULL payment amount must be made. This includes any expenses such as excess travel, the bunny, etc. If it is not paid come the morning of the pickup, I will not be going. I do not allow rabbits to leave my care without full payment having been made. I would be happy to provide pictures before the rabbit(s) go on transport, however I am not required to do so. I may also be able to weigh your rabbit before it goes on transport, but am not required to do so.
  • I am not required to agree to a transport.
  • I will not pay for transport.
  • Arranging transport is up to the buyer, not me.
  • If a rabbit dies on transport, it is not my fault and no refund will be issued.
  • If traveling out of a 10 mile radius from my home, I will likely ask for compensation, as I am not able to drive and would need to pay a driver. I typically ask $1/mile as well as $25/hour

Please email me directly if you have any questions! tinytailsrabbits@gmail.com

3) Pickup (in person)

If you are not using Transport and will be picking your rabbit up yourself, this section is for you.

  • Pickup will be at a public location of my choosing. This is typically the parking lot of the local roller rink, Harris Teeter, Giant, or a Church. (All in Purcellville, VA)
  • Payment MUST be completed before you can leave our meetup with the rabbits or any other purchases.
  • If you show up and decide you do not want the rabbits for any reason, you will not be refunded any deposits.
  • You are welcome, and encouraged, to do a full body examination of the rabbit during pickup to ensure you are satisfied with your rabbit. I do my best to make sure every rabbit is healthy and what is expected by the buyer (ex. if it's a show rabbits, no DQs or significant faults)

4) Health

I do not guarantee my rabbits health once they leave my care. I do my very best to ensure your new bunny is in the best health possible before sale. Once they leave, there are too many variables at play and I will not be held responsible for any health issues or death.

5) What to expect of your rabbit

Not every rabbit is the same. These categories are what I use to determine the best suited home for my rabbits.

  • Pets: These rabbits are either Vienna, have DQs, have many faults, are unbreedable, or just super sweet.  NO RABBITS LABELED As PET ONLY ARE TO BE BRED AT ANY POINT IN TIME!!! Pet rabbits do not come with pedigrees as of (2/01/26). I used to allow pedigrees on anything that was pedigreed, but now I will be implementing a new rule. I've had too many people pay pet prices and then breed them and sell poor quality kits for brood prices, all because I allowed a pedigree.

  • Brood:  These rabbits are either Vienna and good quality, might have a few faults, or past their show age. They would be best suited for a breeding home. Some rabbits labeled "Brood" will only be sold as brood. Some I will allow to go as pets if requested. Pedigrees will ONLY be provided if they are going to a brood home. If a rabbit is sold as brood, I expect it to be used as such.

  • Show: These rabbits are typically young, and have the potential to be good show rabbits and hopefully one day good brood rabbits. I have NO guarantee on the quality of show rabbits or how they will perform. Rabbits sold as show rabbits are intended to be put on the show table if possible. Pedigrees will go with any and all potential show rabbits if going to a show or brood home.

*I make no promises of how your rabbit will behave, react, perform, or breed. I can only give my best guess.

6) Right of Refusal

I retain the right to refuse a sale at any point in time for any reason. If I decide not to go through with a sale due to reasons not stated above, I will refund any deposits previously sent.

7) Returns

Here at TTR, we love our rabbits. If at any point you cannot take care of your bunny anymore, decide to sell it, or for any reason will not be keeping possession of the rabbit, please give me first right of refusal. (come to me and allow me the chance to take the bunny back. With pet rabbits, I require you to come to me first both to notify me as well as offer first right of refusal! I would also be happy to take any supplies off your hands. I only require 2 things when I take a bunny back. 1, you must provide transition feed if you're on anything other than Dawson Gap Naturals. 2, if your rabbit is sick, injured, or has been, as well as spayed/neutered, you must tell me. Rabbits that get returned to me will likely be resold after a quarantine/recovery period.

8) Other

All rabbits will remain in my care until they are at least 9 weeks of age.  No Tiny Tails bunnies are EVER to be surrendered to a shelter, humane society, or rescue. In a case where this is felt necessary, please contact me so I can have a chance to either take them back or help you find a new home for the bunny.
